Check out which field of engineering is the most difficult, and why?
In the order of hardest to easiest— of course, being relative to each other
- 9.5/10— Nuclear Engineering— gluons, tau neutrinos, bosons …
- 9.2/10— Electrical Engineering— circuits galore
- 9.0/10— Computer Engineering— digital circuits AND coding
- 8.8/10— Chemical Engineering— chemical diagrams, stereochem, etc.
- 8.6/10— Aerospace Engineering— design of spacecraft and aircraft
- 8.5/10—Biomedical Engineering— chemical applications in medicine
- 8.4/10— Mechanical Engineering— automobiles, microwaves, fans, etc.
- 7.5/10— Civil Engineering— homes, subways, skyscrapers, etc.
- 7.3/10— Industrial Engineering— factories and industrial efficiency
For a comparison, I’d say physics is on the order of 9.9/10. Check out the “language of electrons,” whatever that means:
(According to K.S. Narayanan, Professor of Astrophysics at Queen's University)
